Video Lectures

This area contains over 1000 hours of on-line video classroom lectures for all three semesters of the WHNP program. The current year's lectures, along with lectures from previous years, are available for all registered WHNP Students 24/7/365.

Peggy Mancuso is an Associate Professor at Texas Woman’s University.  She established the Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner program at Texas Woman’s University in 1999. In 2004, Dr. Mancuso was the recipient of the Susan Cass Doroghazi Faculty Excellence Award for Excellence in Teaching. In 2005, Dr. Mancuso was selected as one of Dallas -Fort Worth Great One Hundred Nurses. She is the Research Director for the College of Nursing at the Dallas campus.

In 1994 Dr. Mancuso became the first Certified Nurse Midwife in private practice to acquire hospital privileges in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. She currently practices at Parkland Memorial Hospital and is a Faculty Associate for UTSW Medical College. She has attended over 1000 births. In addition, Dr. Mancuso is Chair of the AMBC Exam Committee and coordinates nurse-midwifery certification examination administration.
